African film-set sketches @ Rialto

An open trip. Back from Africa, still wandering. Images that doesn’t ends exploring new shapes to come again, in never-ending way, while sounds from tapes become music.
African film-set Sketches is a transfer-based experience. From Burkina Faso audio/video shoots for the making of the movie Même Pére Même Mére ( http://www.malastradafilm.com/meme/ ) it becomes a new thing, a live editing, a dancing-movie. A manipulation by instinct of images and sounds.

Thomas Sankara’s ghost is always in the background, the revolutionary president of Burkina Faso (from 1983 to 1987, year of his assassination). He said: “We must dare to invent the future”, and this audiovisual set dares, destroyng and shaping images, muesin prayers, children playgrounds, nature and technology.

Africa as contemporary canvas.

Ecco il mio contributo al gadget dell’estate, il kit dell’elettore giustizialista allegato al numero 41 di M, periodico di filosofia da ridere e politica da piangere in edicola il lunedì con l’unità.
Purtroppo, per eventualità varie ed appunto eventuali, non trovandomi sotto l’ombrellone il prediletto con le manette ai polsi l’ho fatto girare sul giradischi di casa mia.
