Fundraiser for Fikir
Fikir Tsedeke is a 33 year old Nazareth School graduate, single mother of two, who currently lives in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia. She had been a lawyer at Austrian Development Corp until she became diagnosed with Pseudotumor Cerebri, which caused a progressive deterioration of her vision. Despite having received medical treatment, Fikir remains with very little vision and unable to work. Providing basic needs to her children has now become impossible.
In the absence of an Ethiopian public aid, we her friends have decided to seek for an alternative and consistent source of income for Fikir’s family. The goal is to construct a small unit to be rented which will generate a regular income to support her children. The estimated cost to build this unit in Ethiopia is quite small and attainable (5,000 USD). Please help Fikir with your generosity.
