African film-set sketches (promo)

An open trip. Back from Africa, still wandering. Images that don’t end exploring new shapes to come again, in never-ending way, while sounds from tapes become music.
African film-set Sketches is a transfer-based experience. From Burkina Faso audio/video footage for the making of the movie Même Pére Même Mére it becomes a new thing, a live editing, a dancing-movie. A manipulation by instinct of images and sounds.
Thomas Sankara’s ghost is always in the background, the revolutionary president of Burkina Faso (from 1983 to 1987, year of his assassination). He said: “We must dare to invent the future”, and this audiovisual set dares, destroyng and shaping images, muesin prayers, children playgrounds, nature and technology.
Africa as contemporary canvas.
